FIA Formula E

Supporting the international growth of a new electric racing championship through strategy, content, media and distribution.

THE NEED

As FIA Formula E began expanding internationally, the championship was still relatively unknown in several markets. That expansion required sustained support across strategy, content, media and distribution, both at races and beyond them, across multiple languages and geographies.

BE'S ROLE

Since Season 1, BE has supported FIA Formula E’s international growth, starting with international promotion through CNN and expanding into integrated support across strategy, multilingual content production, live coverage and content outside the live broadcast, localization, media relations, international distribution, broadcaster support, hosting and moderation. Beyond the races, BE developed original editorial and audiovisual stories to amplify the championship’s values, products and people and bring them to broader audiences.

THE RESULT

BE complemented FIA Formula E’s growth efforts across Latin America, including Brazil, as well as Spain, Portugal and the U.S. Hispanic market with sustained strategy, content, media and distribution support. In Latin America, that work contributed to growing awareness and the championship’s fan base; by Season 5, the region had become the second-fastest-growing fan region globally, after China.

Global Integrated Plastics & Circularity Group

Shaping a 2026–2030 sustainability strategy that supports business growth and positive impact across the Group.

THE NEED

With four operating businesses connected to plastics and circularity and operations across Europe, Africa and the Americas, the Group needs a 2026–2030 sustainability strategy that provides one common direction while responding to very different regulatory, energy, operating, commercial and supply realities. The challenge is to integrate sustainability and business so the strategy contributes to growth, competitiveness and resilience while generating positive impact for people and the environment.

BE'S ROLE

BE is working with the Group’s senior leadership and sustainability team to turn that ambition into a clear, practical strategy connected to real business priorities. Movement Architecture™ structures the work around what the Board and other groups that matter need to understand, support and do; BE Strategic Advisory™ brings senior strategic perspective; and BE Creative Studio™ develops the communications assets needed to prepare the strategy for activation and deployment.

THE RESULT

The strategy is being designed so sustainability contributes concretely to business growth and generates positive impact for people and the environment. It brings priorities across people and governance, growth and competitiveness, resilience, circularity and innovation into one 2026–2030 direction, and prepares the Board and other groups that matter to understand it, support it and put it into practice across different operating and geographic realities.

Ambition Loop

Building sustained organic institutional visibility from a basic digital presence.

THE NEED

Ambition Loop, an international climate-action organization with global leadership, participates in international conversations and initiatives connected to implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the work of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and forums that bring together the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), government ministries, private-sector actors and international climate-action networks. Its digital presence started from a base that did not yet reflect the scale of its network or the level of the conversations in which it participates.

BE'S ROLE

The work spans positioning, campaign architecture, multilingual content, publishing, performance analysis and communications around key international moments involving governmental, multilateral, business and civil-society audiences.

Global Event Security + Crowd Management

Aligning an event-security company’s market presence with the scale and level of its operation.

THE NEED

A specialist event-security and crowd-management company was already a trusted provider to major global brands and high-demand operations across concerts, festivals and international mass-participation events. Yet its market-facing presence did not clearly convey the scale, experience or operating level it had reached, making it harder for prospective clients, partners and professionals to understand the true scope of the business.

BE'S ROLE

BE identified the gap between the company’s operating level and how the market could perceive it, then developed the positioning, audience priorities and communications system needed to close it. That direction was translated into a digital identity, industry content, executive positioning, talent communications, interview systems and internal tools.

THE RESULT

BE aligned the way the company presents itself to the market with the true level of its operation and turned its market presence into a growth tool. The new system strengthened executive positioning, made the company’s capabilities more visible and activated its networks to attract professionals with the profile and experience the operation needed.

PROOF

BE'S ROLE

BE defined the content and communications approach; supported speaker search and coordination for selected high-profile participants; produced, translated and distributed international content; led media relations and PR activity; and provided senior hosting and moderation on stage.

THE RESULT

FIA Formula E — Sustainability & Social Impact

Building greater cohesiveness and visibility around the sustainability and social-impact work FIA Formula E delivers in each host city.

THE NEED

FIA Formula E delivers sustainability and social-impact initiatives in the cities where it stages its E-Prix. As that work expanded across the calendar, there was an opportunity to give the initiatives greater cohesiveness in communications and create more strategic opportunities to document, present and amplify their value across races, markets and audiences.

BE'S ROLE

Across multiple seasons, BE has helped connect and amplify five core sustainability and social-impact initiatives under one strategic communications direction:

Better Futures Fund (BFF) supports local organizations and causes to generate lasting positive outcomes in Formula E host cities. BE advised on the initiative and developed and implemented Best Friends Forever as a parallel communications concept using the same BFF acronym, creating an additional platform to expand the Fund’s visibility and support wider Formula E initiatives.

FIA Girls on Track gives young women access to STEM, motorsport, education and career pathways through race-week experiences, workshops and engagement with women across the Formula E ecosystem.

Community Tour brings local schools, community groups and organizations closer to Formula E through access to the race environment, educational experiences and exposure to opportunities connected to motorsport, sustainability and innovation.

Driving Force extends Formula E’s impact into education through sustainability and STEM learning, school workshops, teacher resources and digital learning experiences.

Change.Accelerated.Live is a multi-panel conference held in selected cities throughout the Formula E calendar. It brings together leaders and experts from fields including sustainability, innovation, motorsport, business, education and policy to exchange ideas, debate challenges and explore progress across sport, business and society.

BE identifies and creates opportunities to document and amplify these initiatives throughout the calendar through content, editorial opportunities, media partnerships and other communications assets.

BE also developed a Sustainability Profile for each E-Prix, bringing together the principal sustainability and social-impact activities delivered in the host city, relevant data and messages, and opportunities for amplification so teams can present and extend the work across internal and external audiences.

THE RESULT

FIA Formula E now has a stronger and more consistent way to present and amplify its sustainability and social-impact work across races and markets. Teams, partners, sponsors and media can identify more quickly what is happening in each host city, how the different initiatives contribute to Formula E’s wider sustainability priorities, and where there are opportunities to extend their reach and visibility.

Extreme E

Building awareness and sustaining conversation around a new electric off-road championship.

THE NEED

Extreme E needed to build relevance in markets where media and audiences had little prior awareness of the new electric off-road championship. The challenge was to build recognition and keep those markets talking about Extreme E throughout each championship and in the period between championships.

BE'S ROLE

BE led pan-regional communications and audience development across Latin America, including Brazil, as well as Spain, Portugal and U.S. Hispanic audiences. The work included strategy, localized content production, international distribution, media relations, virtual media roundtables, on-site coverage and ongoing engagement with journalists and other priority contacts across those markets.

THE RESULT

BE’s sustained work helped expand awareness and strengthen Extreme E’s presence across priority regions, keeping the championship visible in media and conversation between events and from one season to the next.

That exposure benefited both the championship and its sponsors, increasing brand visibility across Latin America, including Brazil, Spain, Portugal and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Maritime Supply & Sourcing

Repositioning a maritime supply business around smarter sourcing, responsible growth and commercial relevance.

THE NEED

A maritime supply company wanted to evolve its sourcing model to make smarter decisions, reduce its environmental footprint, strengthen social impact and make those choices relevant to customers and business performance. The objective was to build a market position that connected smarter sourcing, environmental and social considerations, customer value and growth, presenting the company as a stronger, more forward-looking business.

BE'S ROLE

BE helped turn smarter sourcing and responsible business choices into a clearer commercial proposition, then built the communications system to sustain it. BE Strategic Advisory™ connected the company’s sourcing choices, environmental ambition, social contribution and commercial value under one market-facing direction. BE Creative Studio™ translated that direction into corporate and executive content, social media, editorial planning and performance reporting designed to build relevance in the maritime industry.
